I just watched the trailer but i can`t remember the name, the movie will be out in 2008, the scene starts in a party where this guy is going to japan i think, and they are talking about a friend, and suddenly there`s a earthquake, then the people go out, and start filming the city, where a huge explosion sends a lot of rock near them, they start running and the head of the statue of liberty fell near them.

That's the one trailer before the Transformers movie. It doesn't have a title yet. Some people say it'll be called Cloverfield. I think is made by the guy who makes the series "Lost", J. J. Abrams. Check out wikipedia:
