Parminder Nagra is now known in the U.S. for her role as Neela in E.R.
Keira Knightly is obviously well known on the other side of the pond, after Pirates etc
Gurinder herself is well established over there, after having made Bride & Prejudice, and made a contribution to the making of Mistress Of Spices
And to top it all, Becks himself is now playing over there as well - the timing would be perfect !!
Hey, you never know, they may even be able to include a part for Aishwarya as well, after her roles in the above films.

Yes, perhaps the move of The Beckhams to the US is the perfect spark to create an otherwise unlikley sequel.
Personally I hope it has Parminder in it, not Keira.
