Harry Potter contrasts between movies and books?

I was wondering what other people like and dislike about the Harry Potter movies ( any of them), and what you guys noticed was different between the movies and the books. Also, does anyone else beside me think the movies should be made longer? I think they could make the movies about four hours with a good intermission. Just want to know other peoples' opinions.

The movies are a lot shorter than they could be. I would prefer them to be longer and not cut out that much of the little details. As in number 5, I wish we could see the removal of Hagrid and Harry's band form playing Quidditch. I would love to see the Twins' brooms breaking down the door and them leaving. In the 5th movie they took about a third of the book and turned it into a movie. There are SO many things that could go into the movies that would explain everything and expand on points.

I just back from watching the 5th movie. I saw it with my grandmother and when we went to dinner she was lost about the movie. She had not read the books but said that she could not understand the movie. I had to explain the whole movie to her. I wish that they would have kept everything from the book and put it all into the movie. I would not care if there were three parts to the Harry Potter movie but it would be nice to see everything that JK Rowling but in the books on screen.
