I watched it two times and I still dont really get the plot all I know is that Voldemort is back and why do they call it the Order of the Phoenix?

at the end of the fourth movie/book, voldemort has returned to power because he has his body back again as compared to how we see him in the first movie. order of the phoenix is a secret society that was formed when he was once at large - this is the time before harry's parents died. now, at harry's fifth year at hogwarts, dumbledore tries to rebuild the order to fight against voldemort and the death eaters. the problem is, the dark side are recruiting an army as well - that is why the dementors attacked harry and dudley at the beginning. dumbledore thinks that the dementors who are supposedly under the authority of the ministry are slowly turning to the dark side and joining voldemort.

another problem in this story is that cornelius fudge, the minister of magic refuses to believe that voldemort is back. he denies the fact that harry himself fought with voldemort in the fourth movie/book. that is why both harry and dumbledore are targeted by the daily prophet as plotters or crazy people who claims that the dark lord has risen. it is also the reason why dolores umbridge was brought to hogwarts. fudge believes that dumbledore is forming an army with the use of his students, which is why when dolores umbridge was there, she began to limit what is being taught to the students.

in the end, fudge believed that voldemort is back because he saw harry and dumbledore fight him. after this, he resigned his post as minister of magic.
