Do they smoke real weed in films like Half-Baked and Friday?

I seen a lot of movies where they smoke weed, and they look like they really are smoking weed with all the effects and everything. Is it just easy to emulate or are they really high?

Its all fake weed. Now in "How High" with Method Man and RedMan if you go to the special features there is a section called find the stash. They tell you to find the stash, and you poke around a few menus, it opens another clip where they hint to something in the film. There is one scene where they are sitting around with their roommates getting blazed, then someone holds up a bag, another character reaches up for it, looks at the camera, and takes ahold of it. I took this as "Hey, this is a real bag of dank"
