Angus was one of my favorite movies. It's about a heavyset teenager named Angus who's just flat out tired of being big, and has really low self esteem because of it. He has a crush on a cheerleader, who happens to be the girlfriend of a mean jock who constantly torments Angus. To everyone else, Angus feels invisible. A kind of nerdy kid who is into science, Angus is desparate to leave the rejection and torment he faces at his school by creating a science project to get into a science school and be with people with similar interests. Does Angus realize that it's what's on the inside that counts? Does he stand up to the bully jock? Does he get the girl? Does he get into the school of his dreams? You'll have to watch to find out...
