Amazon ? did anyone else preorder harry potter and it didn't arrive?

i mean whats the point of having this service when they dont honour it ? i am very disappointed is anyone else?

i also pre-ordered a copy as a gift. it said it had been dispatched on the 18th but never turned up! I emailed them asking when, why and would i get any compensation... they emailed back saying sorry and because i HAD ordered it in enough time they gave me the £8.99 back on my amazon account. and, the book turned up today (monday)

there's an email link if you log into your account... i think it's called "where's my order" or something.... you might as well try eh?
