OMG....has anybody seen Hairspray???......?
My husband and I went to see it last night and there were ppl who got up and left!!! It was VERY contiversial...as far as one of them characters saying that she "Screwed" the Judges to get the crown and the movie is about Intergration .....I never saw a infomercial about the movie that said ANYTHING about that. there were parts that even made me rather uncomfortable I mean it wasnt bad....it was just....not what I expected My 11 year old sister and 12 year old niece want to see this movie....but I personally dont believe in interacial couples and that was pretty much the whole movie....I thought it was like a nickelodeon movie.....UH NOPE....Please let me know what you think about the movie and whether or not I should allow an 11 and 12 year old to see it!! thank you

11 and 12 year old kids have to learn about the issues facing the world somehow. Nothing was that bad in the movie; that's why it had a PG rating.
