Hairspray old v. new?
I haven't seen the new one yet ... Does anyone remember the one w/ Ricki Lake in it? I loved it.

I loved the original! But one thing that has to be considered about the new Hairspray is that it is not a remake of the old one, but rather the movie version of the Broadway musical, like Mel Brooks' The Producers. It's going to be different than John Waters' original. I don't know if I'll go to the theatre to see it, but I will evetually see it. (Hopefully, I'll like it as much as I liked The Producers with Matthew Broderick and Nathan Lane.)
