i just finished watching casino royale and i don't understand? i thought this was a sequel, why did he get the same name and number... what happened to the original bond? Its wierd if its not a sequel cause "M." appears again..... hmmmm....

James Bond is the hero of a series of books and movies. In a real, normal person, it will be very difficult to live all the time in that kind of action. Even Lions on the jungle died when their strenght decline.
The movie industry need different actors to give life to this character because they can´t be young and active decades and decades.
Normally, each movie is a new separated episode, but some part or the environment is the same: He like the company of pretty girls, he likes martinis, he is a British agent, he always uses the top technology, he is a gentlemen, he likes to gamble, etc.
This sort of action movies are for the fans of 007.
Normally people don´t like to have differents 007. We all tend to compare. For my mother, Sean Connery was the best. I consider Roger Moore was the best, ....
