I can't wait until it comes out do you like the simpsons if you do why?

The Simpsons is hilarious... or at least it was for many years. The most recent ones aren't that great, but the best seasons are good enough to make the others better lol.
I have the DVDs for seasons 8 and 9 and with the exception of maybe an episode or two they're all great. My brother has the DVDs for seasons 5-7 and they're amazing as well.
I love it because the writers are so clever. The humor is a good mix of hilariously obvious moments and clever subtle humor, stemming from the stupidity of Homer and from outside events. Its just brilliant writing (or was at one point) and since the movie has a team of writers including some of the original ones, I'm hoping it'll be as awesome as the best seasons of the show.
