I was wondering if anyone could tell me what happened at the very end of the movie The Edge?
I was able to see the movie up to the part when Anthony Hopkins walked up to his wife and then my Tivo cut it off. I was curious to know what he ended up saying and doing to her. If anyone knows could you please let me know? Thanks!

Charles (Hopkins) walked up to his wife and they hugged, he gave her the watch which she had given to Bob (Baldwin) but he never said anything to her as they looked each other in the eyes. He then turned to face the reporters, held up his hand amongst their chattter, and said "We're all put to the test, but it never comes in the form or at the point we would prefer, does it?". He was then asked...what happened to his friends? How did they die? and he said "My friends... They died.....saving my life".
