i just took a look at the silent hill promotional poster, with the girl without the mouth. i saw the movie, but i dont see what it has to do with a girl having no mouth. any give me why its like that? thank you

I saw the movie, and it could be as abstract a reason as what the guy above me said about the girl having a secret even she isn't aware of, but I'd say it's because the average movie goer wouldn't be aware of Silent Hill and the creepiness of the games etc, so to draw people into the cinemas they came up with a poster that would make people stop and think 'that's a bit disturbing, I gotta see this crazy movie'. You don't forget a poster like that, see?
