the movie "kids" has a sequel, I have been told but it does not have the name Kids in it. Someone told me that it might be called "gummo"?

No, there was never an actual sequel to KIDS.
GUMMO was another movie written (and directed) by Harmony Korine, who also wrote (but did NOT direct) KIDS. GUMMO focuses on rotten kids in a small, boring town in the midwestern United States, whereas KIDS focused on the degenerates in an urban setting.
