Is the bad guy dying an anticlimax? Do you feel let down?
When you read a book/watch a movie and the bad guy is killed, do you ever think he should just be caught?
Answers:
I only feel let down when the good guy and the bad guy don't have a fight at the end of a movie. Whats the point if they don't have some kind of fight in it! Hand, gun, or car chase there has to be some kind of ending like that.
