what would have happened if Daniel (the son) died in the mansion. Jigsaw couldn't have told the father that his son will be alive. so was it amandas job to protect daniel or something. plz help

the kid was there the whole time...so Jigsaw already knew nothing happen to the kid because the kid was in the safe the entire time jigsaw talked to the cop...everything was pre-recorded. But yeah the girl was the protector of the kid.
