Do You Think Harry Potter Is A Horocrux?!
Question:
Do You Think Harry Potter Is A Horocrux?
some ppl say he is but I don't think so....i just want to know what the public thinks!
Answers:
Here are the Horcruxes Dumbledore knew:
Nagini (the snake)
Gaunt's ring (destroyed)
Slytherin's locket
Tom Riddle's diary (destroyed)
Hufflepuff's cup
That leaves only one unknown horcrux. (In "Harry Potter & the Half-Blood Prince", Dumbledore explains that the seventh piece of Snape's soul is the one currently in his body.) Presumably, he found a relic of Ravenclaw for the last item. (The stolen locket may be at Grimmauld Place. While cleaning, they found a locket no one could open.)
I don't believe Harry is a horcrux, because Voldemort wasn't successful. He failed to kill Harry and was destroyed on the spot. An Avada Cadavra curse can't be ignored, and Harry as a baby would not have had the power. His mother's loving sacrifice simply boosted the instinctive Protego spell of a child to unbelievable levels, reflecting the spell back on the caster. (Had Voldemort not been so arrogant as to use magic, he might have killed the baby Harry.)
I think the "Order of the Phoenix" movie, which has to be dumbed down a bit so small children can understand it, expained the prophecy in very clear terms-- it's either Voldemort or it's Harry surviving.
