Was Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix movie true to the book?!

Question:

Was Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix movie true to the book?

I know with the 3rd movie, they skipped a lot in the movie.

Answers:

Well, it is true to the book, but there was a lot skipped. This was the shortest film, based on the longest book. So, there were huge gaps. For example, in the book Hermoine & Ron become prefects, and Harry becomes the head of the Quidditch team. Ron successfully also joins the team, along with his sister Ginny.

There are also scenes involving Kreacher the house elf, and the kids visit to St. Mungo's Hospital to visit Mr. Weasly, as well as huge fight between the Weasleys and Percy Weasly, who believes everything Fudge is saying, and has turned his back on his own family.

It was sad to not see this stuff in the film, but I don't think it hurt the movie at all. They had to make some cuts somwhere.

Other than that, what was on the screen was pretty much word for word from the book.
