There is a book called Summer of My German Soldier. Does anyone know what the name of the movie is that was based on this book? Thanks

Jenny B is right. That was a pretty good movie as I recall. Christy was at the height of her short career. She was a big hit in the TV show Family. I remember her short hair and slightly tomboyish appearance made her's a very contemporary look in that day and I think everyone was surprised that she was actually very good and believable in that WW ll era role
I believe she left show business for medical reasons.
