What is the name of that Chinese/Japanese tune...?

the one that you always here on movies, commercials, so forth. I want to make a ringtone with it since my brother is in Japan right now.

It goes (bare with me here) ding ding-ah ding... ding ding ding, usually followed by a gong or cymbals.

I can hear it in my head, but I have no idea what it's called. You hear it in many movies, cartoons, etc. whenever they're trying to set an Asian tone. We all must have heard it in Bugs Bunny a million times.
