I think the next story line should envolve Dr. Connors more. As you know, he is an amputee army surgeon, Dr. Connors studied reptiles & their ability to regenerate limbs. Doing so, he discovered a chemical substance & gave it to himself transforming himself into a reptilian-humanoid form.
The of course would have to be in part 4, so that is alliance with Spiderman could surface in the either 5 or 6. In one of these, he would fight Silvermane.
This guy is a former head of the crime syndicate known as the Maggia, Silvio gained the nickname Silvermane due to his premature Silver hair at the age of 40...At age 80, forced Doctor Curt Conners (The Lizard) to concoct a youth serum...This serum caused him to grow younger until he reached a point before he was born then caused him to age to his 40's.
Another possible villian in Spidey 4 could by Calypso. Calypso possesses only supernatural, voodoo powers. As a witch-woman, she has the ability to create potions, and use spells upon her captives and enemies. She also has use of the magic from the Yorumba spirit drum that she plays. The rhythm of the drum affects the part of an animal's senses that controls it's instincts and reflexes (also Spider-Man's spider-sense). Ability to come back to life many times.
