Is it a big problem when your ground wire melts?
on my sound system my ground wire melted at the tip its a 06 cobalt sedan i wanna know if i should put it somehwere else or something
Answers:
Two things will melt that wire, to much current load, leading to
slow overheat and melting. and a short circuit which is too much current and a fast overheat and melting. check for a short, and if the wiring is right maybe use a heavier ground wire.
P.S. it is a problem that fuses are supposed to prevent.
