One of the trailers that was playing before transformers started takes place at a party cause a guy is going to japan but then something roars and they go to the roof.Then they hear another roar.They go to the street and I think someone said something about a giant lion?Then the statue of liberty's head got thrown onto the street.What movie was this? I didn't catch the name of it. Anyone know?

My boyfriend is very interested in this movie. It is from the creator of Lost. You can look it up on imdb, wikipedia, and even google will show you a LOT of information.
It's not as secretive as it seems. It's not Transformers 2, and it's not Godzilla.
It's under a working title Clover, or sometimes Slusho, I believe. The man who is directing this movie also directed Lost, so I feel that it's going to be similar.
It's supposed to be about a monster attacking New York. Search "untitled jj abrahms project"., "clover", "cloverfield", "slusho", or "1-18-08" on imdb, wikipedia, or google, and you can see for yourself.
