How can i download films?

Is there anyway to download films for free?

I just answered a question like this that someone else just asked, so I'll just repost the answer that I gave that person.
(And also, I've downloaded lots of movies from some of the sites that I mention here)

There are literally dozens of places where you can find movies online, both to watch for free, and to download. Here's a couple to help you get started:

On a lot of sites out there, like on daily motion and on joox, you have to know the proper "code", or which way people are uploading videos and the name they are trying to hide them under so they won't get deleted. Also, download the DivX player - it's one of the better ways to see movies that you've downloaded from online. Try searching in the quick silver forums - you can post requests for movies you want to watch there, and there are a lot of members on there that are reealllyyy good at finding things. Have fun ;o)
