Question:
What Moviemakers Had the Most Impact On Movies?
I say, Charles Chaplin and Steven Spielberg. Because they brought film (in their times) further by a giant leap.
Your thoughts wanted, and reasons too!
Answers:
Just off the top of my head:
D.W. Griffith--nobody thought you could make money off full-length feature films until Birth of a Nation came out.
Sergei Eisenstein--creator of the montage, which we take for granted today.
Orson Welles--there's a reason why Citizen Kane still gets voted Best Picture of all time, n'est-ce pas?
