How do I sell 3 ideas for cool scenes in a movie to the production company?!

Question:

How do I sell 3 ideas for cool scenes in a movie to the production company?

I have great ideas for 3 scenes in a movie sequel. That is all, not the entire story because I'm not that talented. The movie sequel is being talked about, but that's it. No story line has been written yet. How do I sell them my 3 ideas? I know if someone of importance seen my ideas they would definitely want to use them for the movie and it would help that movie make a lot more money than otherwise. I don't even know where to start with this and I know I don't have too much time before they start writing the storyline (probably less than 1 year). I'm guessing it would be a position of something like freelance screenwriter, but how do I get them to read my ideas? I know people will say that it's unlikely because the company wouldn't read my ideas, but isn't it their goal to have the movie make as much money as possible. What can I do?

Answers:

First find out if the sequel is in the works, if it is find out who is writing it and if they need any script ideas or ghost writers. You may get in as a re write or staff writer if they like your stuff. Then again they may steal it. That is the chance you take. I look at it as at least something you wrote made it on the screen. Other's look at it as you got robbed. Really you should keep workingon the script and stop thinking you can't do it. All you have to do is write out a time line and then write scene by scene from one end of the line to the other. Your scenes may not fit in to some one else's time line. You have to be prepared to make adjustment or write it all yourself.
