I went to see transformers, and before the movie started, the played a trailer of a movie, but did not give name . Trailer went like this = " showed people at a birthday party, then a huge explosion in middle of city, then showed the statue of liberty's head torn off and thrown into street, then cut off nad showed a release date of jan 2008, abd during the trailer, creams from large animal. anyone know the name of this movie? thanks

It's under the working name 'Cloverfield'. Supposedly New York City is attacked by a massive monster dubbed the 'Parasite'. The entire movie is rumored to be filmed from handheld cameras to give it the home movie feel.
