How is the new Harry Potter film?
I didn't really like the last one compared to the others.
Answers:
I thought it was disappointing. I expect a lot of the plot to be left out (otherwise the movie would be about 5 hours) but there were some details that weren't cut but were changed and with no justification for it. I also thought emotionally it was pretty flat. Everyone's angry/worried at the beginning all the way to the end and there's not as much humor or adventure as there is in the book. The D.A. is minimalized in the movie and they also skimp on the battle scene. The duel between Voldemort and Dumbledore is cool, but the stuff leading up to that (between the D.A. and the Death Eaters) is lame and doesn't give the kids their chance to prove themselves.
Overall, it was average but not as good as 4 and definitely not as good as 3, which I think was the best one (please bring Alfonso Cuaron back to direct 7!!!).
