Who thinks La Dolce Vita is the best movie ever?

I'm not a movie buff but I saw La Dolce Vita for the first time a few weeks ago. I think it's good movie but after all the hype I was a little disappointed. I had trouble understanding the movie and I was surprised that it has so much popularity today. I think that it's really beautiful to watch and that there are some loose themes that run through it but overall the movie seems to ramble and feels about an hour longer than it actually is. I think with another viewing I would get a lot more out of it but I'm not sure I'd have to patience for it. Have you seen 8 1/2? It's another Fellini film that is based on Fellini's life. I really enjoyed it. It had all the richness of La Dolce Vita but it feels more put together. If you haven't seen it, I'm sure you'd love it.
