What era in time was the GODFATHER based upon?
Its Urgen that i figure this out so please help. I'm Into the whole Retro clubs mostly pachuco style but recently after watching the movie and playing the game on my psp i want to try and sport the style but need the years to buy the clothes an learn the dance and singing styles

The first Godfather, which the game is based off of, is right after world war II, since Michael apperantly just came back from the war so mid 1940s. The second part of the Godfather is based 7 years after the first ends, which you can tell because Kay quoted one of the last lines of the first movie that Michael said saying that he said that 7 years ago, so mid 1950s. The third part is way later, which you can tell because of Michael's age, so I would guess the 70's. During the second movie, there are flashbacks to when Don Vito came to America, and these take place somewhere near 1910 and 1920.
