Of course you want the team to win, (I.E Varsity Blues, Any Given Sunday) but in the greatest football movie of all-time "Friday Night Lights" (a true story) the team you are attached to loses. But they didn't lose the game on their own, they had help from a racist referee that clearly blew a call on purpose to help the all black inner city team win. FNL is a tragically beautiful story, and yes they lost, but I wasn't rooting for them to lose. So to answer the question I say "I want to win"!
