It's probably unbelievably kick *** for a Transformers fan, but I never was so I wasn't too awe-struck, although I thought the effects were really, really well done and the robots looked really great. There's also a good amount of humor that's actually funny (a lot of it comes from the robots as well!), and the entire mid-section of the movie is very entertaining. But the action, while some things are very awesome, is not consistently awesome. It actually gets kind of boring, and confusing, like you don't know what the hell is going on because there's so much metal-on-metal clashing on-screen. It was mostly tedious and nothing was too memorable, and the big problem with it is that the action never got better; it just stayed the same from the first to the last scene.
It's enjoyable for the most part though.
