I'm not really good with the whole talking situation every time I talk to someone I like my mind goes completely blank and I'm like brain dead.

trust me I have no skill what so ever. Infact a few years ago this girl who road my bus sat next to me one day and started talking to me. I froze and told her that I had brain damage and to this day shes still afraid of me.

dont beat around the bush at all, be as straight up as possible. girls hate it when you dart around and never really get to the point. just go straight up to her and say "hey, i really think you seem like a great person, would you like to go out to dinner sometime?"
