Does anyone know if the perks of being a wallflower is going to be made into a movie?
im so anxious to know, i love that book and well im not sure if there going to do a movie and if they are can someone please tell me when would it come out..thanx

Well, Chbosky, the author, wrote the book to kill time while writing a screenplay for columbia pictures. So I assume he has influence in the film industry, as well as experience. the book was also published by MTV who already has their own film studios. Chbosky also produced the show jericho for cbs so he has a large pool of agents and actors if he did decide to make it into a movie. Most movies about high school and tenagers tend to be released in the spring, s that would mean shooting would be beginning sometime between now and early october. I know this didnt completely answer the question beyond a reasonable doubt, but hopefully it was reassuring that there is a high likelyhood of this book becoming a movie
