Will the new Indiana Jones movie be a hit?

I know it's too early to be asking this, but I will anyway. Does anyone think the film will be a success?

It's been nearly 20 years since the last one, and Harrison Ford is 65. The message boards on a lot of film websites are filled with jokes about Ford's age, and many people are disappointed by the casting of Shia LeBeouf.

After seeing franchises like Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings make such an impact, will Indy still pull the audiences in?

I think it will be a hit. I actually hang out with a ton of film geeks and fan boys, and most are actually pleased about LeBeouf. They think he has the right humor and most think he's a decent actor. As far as the age, if Bruce Willis can open a Die Hard movie at 50+, I see no reason why Harrison Ford can't open an Indiana Jones movie. The Indiana Jones movies have a built in fan base, even after all these years. I still pop them in from time to time and enjoy, and I'm sure others do the same.
