What is wrong with Star Wars Ep 1-3?

all i ever hear on here are complaints about them but no one ever says what.

someone once said dialogue (like it was forced)
but that makes no sense. its a movie.. based on a script.

its a wonder the age of some of these people who answer.

So would someone please tell me what you think is so bad about Ep 1-3

and dont just tell me Jar Jar Binks ruined Ep 1

I think one of the biggest reasons you hear complaints are this...for the old school fans, when the original movies came out we were young. It was so captivating to see all the characters like Yoda, Chewbacca, Luke, Han Solo. It was easy to "believe" in those movies since we were young and had never really seen any movies that had the depth of story and special effects like they have.

When episodes 1-3 came out that same audience was much older. It was much more difficult for them to recapture that same magic that they experienced as a kid. Instead most of them are old, cranky, and way too critical about movies now. When they were a kid they would run around their backyard with a broom handle for a light-saber, a towel clothespinned to their shirt for a cape and act like they were Darth Vader. Now they'd rather just sit back and bash everything since it wasn't like the "good ole days."

Point is, who cares, if you enjoyed them like I did then that's all that matters.

PS..Jar Jar Binks did ruin episode 1, but Darth Maul made up for it. lol
