How do I become an actor?
I'm trying to break into acting, I'm 26, from St. Louis. Anyone know a good place to start, or what I have to do to get a big break?

Actors act.
Take roles. Any roles. All roles. Build a resume.
Then get an agent.
There is no such thing as "a big break" as in some director sees you sitting on a stool at the corner malt shop and whisks you off to become Marilyn Monroe. That is a myth.
The only exception is to bootstrap it like Matt Damon and Ben Afleck did, writing and starring in their own career big break project. But that is the stuff of legend and happens maybe once a generation.
Acting is a craft. Practice it. If you are good, and work hard, you will get the roles that will make you famous.
