Does anyone know who sings the song in the trailer for the HBO film Yesterday? The song is in an African language and the only english word he says is "yesterday".
I love that song and it's driving me crazy that I can't figure out who it is...

The theme song to the film is by African artist Madala Kunene. You can download some of his songs from Calabashmusic.com. , but I'm not finding the theme from the film, and as of now there is no score or soundtrack available for purchase.
Search the artist, maybe you can find the song on a another site, or you can always rent or but the film and play it on your computer, then use a program like All Sound Recorder or Absolute Sound Recorder,which will record anything that comes through your sound-card and save it as mp3 or wav file.
PS The trailer on HBO's official site, has some of the music with words over it and no vocals, still a nice trailer.
