What is your opinion about the movie SICKO? Do you agree with Michael Moore?

I believe that the health care system is poor here in the States b/c I see what happens to me when I visit doctors and what happens to people that I know also...you go for one small problem and end up having to take all kinds of exams...not to mention the amount of prescriptions that they throw in as free samples...so, yeah, I think Moore has a very good point...

Why are so many Americans going to Mexico and Canada to get treatments?? I know this not b/c of the movie but b/c I know people who go across the border to get a dental treatment since they can't afford it here....U$800 for a crown?? That's just ridiculous...

You want to see a doctor, the clinics say they're "in-network" with your insurance company and later you get an extra "surprise" bill...it happened to me...these are facts here...

I don't know how the health care system works in the countries mentioned in the movie b/c I never used those BUT everything he talks about, he proves it...

I DO know that the health care system in Brazil works well and the doctors actually take the time to talk to you and treat you in a more human way....not to mention that they have some type of universal health care...

Here, you're just a patient, a number, who they're going to make lots of money off of and that's why they hurry up to get the next patient...you can almost here "chiching" along with the dollar signs on the doc's eyes here in the U.S...it's a shame...

I think it would take someone with a narrow way of thinking to automatically refuse to see this film or to see only one side of life in general...it's always good to see both sides of the coin.....how can you even have an broad opinion if not??

Be more open-minded and don't think so selfishly my friends! Even worse, don't think of making so much money...you can't take it with you when you die anyways...

Let's think more like "WE" and not "ME". Let's treat humans in a more humane way.
