70's movie of the week about guy in wheelchair who develops orange armor to figh!
Question:
70's movie of the week about guy in wheelchair who develops orange armor to fight crime?
The guy travels around in a van, he gets on a platform and the armor sort of falls on him. He had kinda long, straight hair. Probably a pilot for a tv show that didn't make it. The armor was very cumbersome, the body and helmet were orange with a dark tinted visor on face, arms and legs had a more chainmail look to them... do you remember the title or who the main actor was?
Answers:
...oh, heck yes!!!
I actually remember when that NBC T.V. movie originally aired (which virtually means that I'm older than dirt!!!)
The film was called "Exo-Man", from 1977, and it starred David Aykroyd, Jose Ferrer, Harry Morgan and a pre-Mr. McGee, Jack Colvin.
Indeed, it was supposed to be a feature-film pilot to a proposed T.V. series, which of course, never materialized.
...with the imminent summer of '08 release of "Iron Man", I'm really not surprised to see renewed interest in "Exo-Man" (I answered a similar question, a couple of weeks ago).
...anyways, check out the info below!!!
