Shrek 1 and 2 are both great for kids and adults.

The Carebears film is available on DVD and my sister liked that when she was 7.

Anything by Studio Ghibli is great - "Kiki's Delivery Service", "Castle In The Sky", "Howl's Moving Castle", "Spirited Away"....

Doctor Who DVDs (no prizes for guessing I would say that).

Flight Of Dragons is a great cartoon with princesses, wizards, dragons and a happy ending.

"The Princess Bride" is a wonderful tale for kids.

"Labyrinth" with David Bowie as the singing and dancing Goblin King and the best creatures animatronics have ever made this film was one of my favourites when I was a kid and I still love it now.

Disney's "Aladin" has a princess, a thief, a genie and a monkey - wonderful fun for boys and girls.

I think the Spongbob film is available on DVD - perhaps they like the show so that might be good.
