i dont knw if he was high, but my bf got it, and explained it to me, but i still didnt understand it

aahhh the old 'time travel paradox'

the fact is that he found out that he could change the future for his girlfriend by sacrificing himself.. he knew that the plane's engine was going to strike his bedroom and he knew that frank the rabbit was dead because of donnie, and he was able to understand everything that was going on, when the old lady wasn't able to comprehend the whole situation... that's why she went mad, and she had written the book about it
I wish the teacher would have told him everything he knew which would have tied it all together for everyone to understand better.. but when he says 'this conversation is over , because I could lose my job' that causes the confusion for most people, because he has all the answers that donnie was looking for
