What is your favorite Brad Pitt movie/role? Why?!

Question:

What is your favorite Brad Pitt movie/role? Why?

He doesn't have to have been the lead actor, but the question is about his role specifically.

Answers: My favorite movie with Brad Pitt in it, would have to be Se7en. However, it's my favorite because of the role that Morgan Freeman played and the overall incredible story and cinamatagrophy.

My favorite Brad Pitt role would be a toss up between Tyler Durden in Fight Club and Whatever his name was in 12 Monkeys. In Fight Club, he was such an incredible anarchist and played the perfect opposite to Edward Norton. And in 12 Monkeys, he played crazy very well. i like him in meet Joe black The one he wrestle the bear at the end.... Mr and Mrs Smith and Legends Of The Fall. christian from legends of the fall him in fight club, but i liked Norton better and Helen b was looking hot in her druggie look

plus whats a better line than " i want to have your abortion" lol Three goods ones that I can think of. Interview with a vampire (Louis), Se7ev (Mills), and fight club (Tyler)

Why? I like those darker roles more than the popularized one.

Mills would have to be #1, mostly because the ending of that movie was perfect. (I won't spoil it for the people who haven't see the movie, but I highly recommend the movie.) I really liked Fight Club because it was such a good psycho-thriller! Great movie, but my favorite Brad Pitt movie is Troy. He was in such incredible shape for that movie. He actually lived out in the desert and trained there for 1 1/2 years to get a feel for the role. He does most of his own stunts, you know. What a man! :) Fight Club Legends of the Fall

his character was so unorthodox Thelma & Louise

I do not really like this film though I'm fans of the actresses. I don't agree with the actions in the film. If actions were reversed, most women would have raised heck!

But, there's no doubt that Brad Pitt is dazzling in this role. I remember people telling me about this film, but most of their description was about this gorgeous young actor, Brad Pitt, which puzzled me quite a bit since I was aware of him from earlier roles, including episodes of 21 Jump Street, Head of the Class, Dallas, Growing Pains, and Freddy's Nightmares and one film role in "Cutting Class".

I remember that I kept repeating, "Little Brad Pitt?" I simply couldn't picture the boy in this sort of role. When I saw the film on HBO, I was astonished! It was akin to "little Joey Lawrence" posing for a poster as the latest stud muffin (the expression that was popular then).

When you get older, you'll understand more. Maybe people do: Gertie grew up and became Poison Ivy then a Charlie's Angel; Wednesday Adams became a femme fatale; Claudia the little girl vampire became Spider-Man's beloved Mary Jane. Time passes fast, doesn't it?!

Anywhoo, as a friend says: He was dazzling! He stole scenes from two amazing actresses! The film seemed to dim somewhat when he left. He was absolutely glorious-looking, positively golden, and a certified star from that moment on. Remember that? Like some actors do with a small role, he ran with it, playing it for all it was worth, and stamping his name in people's minds. I saw the same thing happen to Kevin Costner as the young cowboy in Silverado; he stole the film out from under the veterans and stars.

It's likely this sort of explosion on the screen will keep happening as an actor or actress takes what could be a throwaway part and turns it into a star-making turn.

Yes, I like some of his films, but that cocky, grinning, boisterous cowboy-thief is what comes to mind when I hear his name. However, I can appreciate him as a vampire, Death in human guise, and all the other roles he has tackled. Legends of the Fall. Basically because he was HOT in it.

Liesel. The stoner roommate in True Romance. Meet Joe Black
Mr. & Mrs. Smith
Oceans Eleven
Interview w/ the Vampire
Fight club Legends of The Fall, Long Blonde hair and a beautiful smile. He really did a great job in acting the part of Tristian.. I have to say there are many roles I liked Brad Pitt in (haven't all of his film, though). My highest ranked for me would be Louis from 'Interview with the Vampire' because the way he acts out the character is both beautiful and tragic. Next one down would Tristan in 'Legends of the Fall' (can't think of one really good reason). Next one down would him in 'Meet Joe Black' because he, for the majority of the film, did a good job of personifying death in a sophisticated, charming, and romantic manner. Next one down would him as Achilles in 'Troy' (can't think of one really good reason).

Him in 'Seven'...I'm really on the fence with that one; I would have to place this one near the bottom of my list.
