That movie scared the living crap out of me as a kid. OMG, it scared me SOOOO bad! I still have a phobia of clowns... it was on TV when I was about 8 or 9 and I wasn't supposed to watch it, but I did anyway, and I REALLY wished I hadn't!!! Yes, it scared me to death as a kid know and don't want to. i hate clowns. they scare the crap out of me. Yes, and it scared the ba-jesus out of me. That's why I hate clowns so much! It scares children a lot, I hear, but I didn't watch it until I was older and I thought it was lame - and long. I appreciate it more now, but it's still awfully long and drawn out. It isn't that scary. Just keep your inhaler close at hand and you'll be fine. Not to mention the story spawned the name of one of the best skate-punk bands. I have. the book is just as scary. My dad read the book when i was a kid, I remember catching him looking under my bed before i went to sleep. Sure, lots of people have. I even read the book. yep, me too, i had read the book before the movie came out, Stephen King is my favorite author, anyway the book was just as scary!!!

as far as being scared of clowns, Poltergeist helped me in that area, I hated clowns for a very long time, had one in my room a lady had made for me, I would not go in my room with the lights off and I layed that thing down at night so it couldn't "see" me and when i would wake up it would be sitting up, freaked the crap out of me for a long time, finally found out my mom would sit it back up after i fell asleep! Yeah I remember that movie being scary. The only part I really remember is the eyeball in the fortune cookie. While the miniseries was very scary, may I suggest that you read the book. I think you will find the ending in the book better than it was portrayed in the miniseries. I like the miniseries up to that point, but the ending of It was kind of a let down compared to my own imagination.

The book that scared me the most and the movie was pretty good, too, was Christine. yes its absolute crap,i read the book 1st andi was rivited ,couldnt put it down, watched the film and couldnt believe how much had been cut out, much of it key parts, this one book to film to be avoided i sure have i used to be so afraid to watch that movie. i dont like clowns anymore but that movie doesnt scare me anymore.
