http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=udybmxbkf... i like the green mile and the creepshows where good but my favorite would be The langoliers The Stand It. I like Carrie and Green Mile. Most of his books are really good. But the first shining movie was just funny, totally unlike the book and was a good laugh. the movie Pet Sematary is what made me become a Stephen King fan. i saw it in the theatre with my brother and after that i read pretty much all of his books. so for that reason, and because i absolutely love them, i'd say Pet Sematary. plus, Stephen had a cameo in the film, so i always assumed he was happy with the adaptation... however, i also really love the film version of The Shining! there are a couple of really big differences between the book and the film, or so i've been told. i've never actually read the book. but i absolutely LOVE the film!

cheers,
Shauna! The Best book or I should say book series is The Dark Tower books.

The best movie as of right now is would be The Shining (the original one).....But This may change depending on how JJ decides to do The Dark Tower (TV series or Movie). The most accurate adaptation to me was Firestarter...right down to the pulled fingernails and the wind-up cat doll. Stand By Me gets my vote. "Dead Zone" starring Christopher Walken
"The Shining" starring Jack Nicholson
