Answers: Because the first Lemony Snicket movie didn't do particularly well. They don't want to spend millions of dollars on a movie that performs with mediocrity. I think they might in fact make more movie like that.Based on how well The HP movies are doing. As far as Emily Browning I am not sure sorry... But look for more movies soon to come. Well movies are good, most of the time depends on maker as well.
