Is America Really Like The Disturbia Film Set?!

Question:

Is America Really Like The Disturbia Film Set?

I just went to see the film Disturbia, which is set in a suburban neighbourhood. Are there neighbourhoods in America that are really like that, or is it just "hollywood"? Where was the disturbia film set? If America is really like that, i would like to one day move there from Britain :)

Answers: Well besides the crazy neighbor killer man. The houses are like that. The upper class have pools but the lower class doesn't. The average house is 3-4 bedroom 2.5 bath with back and front yard in a local suburb neighborhood. Source(s):
Livin in America There are places like that in America. There are also cities with a lot of people and farms with nobody for miles. So, yeah, there are those kinds of neighborhood here. There are burbs even more insidious than the one in Disturbia. There are many places that look like that, but not where I live. Yep, suburbs like that do indeed exist,
usually located 5-10 miles from a major city It's a big country, so yes. Pretty much everything you see in the movies that is supposed to set in America actually exists.
