Like theres a picture in a movie, but you are the only one has spotted it.

Answers: The one I remember that a lot of people missed was in the movie "Airplane". People did not see the "Whacking Section" on the magazine stand.

Also want to comment on the aircraft markings for D-Day. All allied aircraft had three, not two, white stripes painted on the wings and around the fuselage so they could be identified as friendly. Yes but its a long time ago so it might not interest you.

In 1962 I went to the premiere of The Longest Day huge cast list including amongst others John Wayne) in London. Now I'm a bit of an expert on the second world war and I noticed that something was wrong when Spitfires were flying over the normandy beaches. On that day all Spitfires and Hurricanes had 2 white stripes painted on their wings but these did not appear in the film.

I got in touch with 20th Century Fox and they had the film dubbed before general release to get the accuracy right. In Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, during the graveyard scene with Valdemort, Valdemort says to Harry, " even your filthy muggle mother would be proud".
Harry's mother was not a muggle, she was muggle born. Her sister in the first movie said, "my parents were so happy, we finally had a witch in the family", meaning Harry's mother. Sure hon, If you live in L.A. where a lot of films are made you see that stuff all the time..like at the end of "Little Miss Sunshine" there is a scene on the end of the Redondo Beach pier where the beauty pageant was. Well everyone in L.A. knows that isn't the Redondo Beach pier. (It was the Ventura Beach pier.) We just suspend our disbelief and try to enjoy the movie...You can find something in almost any movie.. There are two in It's a Wonderful Life:

1) Clarence says that Harry Bailey drowned at the age of 9 (I think it was); but then George uncovers the dates on the tombstone--and they don't match up.

2) The guy whose tree George plows into (for some reason) says--when George comes back in limbo and the car is no longer there: "You must mean TWO other trees..."

Also this one--from the original Ocean's Eleven:

One of the actors hangs the receiver up sideways on the phone--and you can actually hear somebody (one of the crew presumably) let out a laugh offstage.

These are just ones I've noticed myself. There are whole books on the subject of Movie Flubs.
