What's the saddest movie you've ever seen?!

Question:

What's the saddest movie you've ever seen?

Tears were just rolling down your eyes.

Answers: I can't think of a movie that I cried over in more than one place. Movies that have scenes that moved me to tears are:

Romeo & Juliet (1968)

Stella Dallas (Barbara Stanwyck version)

Brian's Song (original)

E.T. (when the mother sees this poor, sick little critter, and he reaches out to her~In the novelization, which adds a lot more detail, E.T. develops a crush on Mary! That makes it especially sad that she is horrified by him.)

The King & I (when the little girl is reading the letter)

On Golden Pond (when it looks as if he's dying of a heart attack, even when I know he doesn't~It reminds me so much of my father's death.)

1776~I cry more during this musical about the Declaration of Independence than in any other! Several weepy spots are: "Mama, Look Sharp", sung by a young messenger about a friend who was killed in battle; "He Plays the Violin", sung by Martha Jefferson about her husband, Thomas, to Ben Franklin and John Adams~a lovely, sweeping song that gets me just thinking about it; "Is Anybody There?", sung by John Adams after reading a message from General George Washington then envisioning the future he sees for the country. Maybe I'm the only person in the world who gets weepier over musical American history than tragic love stories!

Camelot (especially when Arthur sees his kingdom being destroyed; at the end, when he's talking and singing to the boy who wants to be a knight)

I don't cry over films all that much when I think of the multi-thousands I've watched in my lifetime I absolutely HATED "Love Story"! My date cried enough for the two of us, and he couldn't understand why I didn't cry. Over some girl who was foul-mouthed and obnoxious...?! Never! 9/11 Deep Impact or A Time To Kill Moulin Rouge

Christian longs to discover the meaning of love.
Finds true love, fights for his love and then loses his love.
So sad.

At the end, when Satine lays dying in Christian's arms, I absolutely lose it. I start crying uncontrollably and hug my wife tightly. I couldn't imagine losing my wife, my love. I could not live without her. Life without love is a sad life indeed. Schindler's List Muriel's Wedding. I feel sorry for the wife. 8 below or Titanic "Old Yeller"

Old Yeller is an old colour movie released in 1957 by the Disney Company, back when Walt was still alive. The story takes place in the American frontier back in the 1860s ...just after the civil war. This movie is basically about a boy and his dog and has all the heart and excitement of a great wilderness adventure. Old Yeller was a playful and trouble making Labrador Retriever. He got his name from the color of his fur and he was the type of dog you'd want to have as a kid. There was also good footage and use of trained animals in this movie.

Old Yeller isn't too depressing to watch, until the end. If you don't shed a tear for Old Yeller and his young master at the end, you are heartless! It is an older movie but still compares to any movies released today. I love it, but a lotta guys might not. This is a family movie, so there is not too much violence and little blood. The ending should bring a tear to your eye, especially if you are an animal lover. Disney movies typically have happy endings ...but not so here! i love Hope Floats one of my favorite movies of all time!!!! Beaches Titanic........... the part where he goes down 2 the ocean =.( Titanic and Pearl Harbor I was crying! the massage The Little Princess. dont ask me why, it just makes me so sad. It was actually a made for tv movie called Alex, the Life of a Child. I was practically bawling. I was glad I was alone.
Brian's Song (original) was also a real tear jerker. Love Story...I was a kid when I saw it and tried to hide from my brothers and sister so they went see or hear me whimper!I cried so hard. Brians song also! the pianist

The way richie's brother doesn't count in the family and that's why he hides in alcoholism, when richie's brother is finally trying to get sober and then richie dies. It's soo sad!!! Brian's song does it for me without fail. I cry like a river every single time I watch this movie. titanic is most saddest movie ever.....
