The movie Flicka?!

The movie Flicka?
I've heard rumors going around sayin that in the making of the movie Flicka, they killed horses... I do not believe it.
Is there any proof of this rumor?

Answers: Love the movie, very sad. About a dying breed of cowboy, in this case, girl, and her love for horses and ranching.
And yes, two horses died during the filming of this movie. They WERENT killed. One tripped on its reign and tumbled over and broke its neck and the other broke its leg. When movies use animals, animal rights groups, like aspca, are on site during filming to make sure the animals arent hurt in any way. In this case both were ruled accidents.
